Generalised Anxiety Disorder

Generalised Anxiety Disorder or GAD is all about months of uncontrollable and excessive worry.

GAD course - Liz Course Scenario
You will meet Liz, a thirty something women who is a chronic worrier. Liz will take you through the following lessons: 
Lesson 1 The Diagnosis
Learning about your symptoms.
Lesson 2 About treatment
Learning about the treatment of GAD and about types of thoughts that occur with GAD.
Lesson 3 Learning to manage thoughts
Learning ways to control thoughts about worry, and how to help control your physical symptoms.
Lesson 4 Coping with uncertainty
Learning how to tackle behaviours that affect GAD.
Lesson 5 Challenging beliefs and acting "as if"
Learning to tackle beliefs and assumptions that affect GAD.
Lesson 6 Preventing relapse and getting even better!
Learning how to have better control over your symptoms in the long term.
